The IMA and Lithodomos have recently formed a partnership to bring the IMA to the forefront of the technological education experience. Harnessing the potential of Virtual Reality (VR), Lithodomos are designing a custom built program for the IMA which intends to take the participants on a tour of several historical sites centuries ago.
This immersive experience adds further depth to the education programs delivered at the museum and presents a highly engaging experience. Suitable for both primary and secondary students, this tour travels through the centuries, beginning in 650 AD in Saudi Arabia and concluding in the 19th century in South Australia at the Marree Mosque.
To complete the experience for the viewer there are also several other features which you can expect:
- Language translations
- Research bibliography for further investigation
- Tailored audio narration to provide further detail.
