Under the Stars: Story of the Elephant
Expand the imagination of your children and their hearts! Learn about the magnificent event that happened over 1,000 years ago. The failed plot of Abraha’s army elephants and the Kabaa. During the story telling of the elephant, children will learn the key events of Prophet Muhammad's life. Beginning the series with the year of his birth, the year of the elephant.
Develop your child's skills with fun activities and creativity with engaging activities. Bring along your children to hear the well known and beloved tale. ‘The Story of the Elephant’ is from Surah Al Fil: Chapter 105 of the Quran. One of many inspiring stories of the Qur'an.
After story telling, decorate your own elephant with pom poms, sequins and other fun materials! Then take it home with your own copy of the story.
Build a Kaaba Workshop
Muslims believe that Abraham and his son, Ismail, constructed the Kaaba. Tradition holds that it was originally a simple unroofed rectangular structure. The Quraysh tribe, who ruled Mecca, rebuilt the pre-Islamic Kaaba.
