Celebrate Ramadan at our Pastels with Beray: Kaaba workshop!
Join artist Beray Uzunbay as she guides you in creating a Kaaba artwork using soft pastels. The Kaaba is a building at the centre of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It's the most sacred site in Islam. Beray will show you how to create your very own artwork inspired by the spirit of Islam and Ramadan. She will walk you through the process step-by-step in a fun and beginner-friendly way. Participants will approach their Kaaba piece using a modern style of art, namely Post-Impressionism. Therefore, you'll be following in the footsteps of famous artists, such as Vincent van Gogh. We look forward to going on this journey with you!
