Nature Printmaking allows kids to try different techniques and see cause and effect in action. Multiple images will be created using these various techniques.

Kids will experiment with different colours and imagery with immediate results, then move on to experiment some more.

Making nature prints is one of our favourite ways to paint on sunny afternoons. Nature is the original paint palette. All colours we use are found in the natural world and all paint pigments and inks were initially made from natural materials, such as plants and stones.

Join the IMA team and we'll take a walk in our garden and Merri Creek to find items to paint with. Gather the eucalyptus leaves, the budding flowers, some rocks and twigs and so much more. With these tools we will make a mural of the beauty of nature.
