Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Persian culture with our Make a Mini Persian Rug workshop!

From the earliest times, Persia has been famed as a major centre of Oriental rugs and carpet weaving. Persian rugs are not merely ordinary floor coverings; they are masterpieces that tell stories of culture, art, and heritage. Join us as we delve into this creative tradition and learn about the deep cultural significance these rugs hold in the Islamic world.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity to weave their own mini Persian rug using a cardboard loom and a kaleidoscope of colourful yarn.

Our experienced facilitator will guide you through the process and teach different techniques to create patterns and textures.

By joining our workshop, you'll not only learn the basics of carpet weaving, but you'll also gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of Persian rugs.

No prior weaving experience is required for this workshop. This activity is open to participants aged 6+.
