Attendees of the HALT Summit 2023 are invited to join us after-hours for a special guided tour of the Islamic Museum of Australia.
The Highly Accomplished and Lead teacher (HALT) Summit provides an opportunity for HALTs to work with leading thinkers to develop skills that equip them to lead and inspire colleagues and collaborate with other Highly Accomplished and Lead teachers.
Discover the rich cultural, academic and artistic heritage of Muslims in Australia and how this links explicitly to the various curricula used in Australian schools. You'll also learn more about our national education programs available all over the country.
For this special event, our National Education Manager, Kym Wilton (NT HALT alumna) and our Director of Community and Education Engagement, Sherene Hassan OAM, will show you around the museum, highlight specific links to curriculum, and build connections to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching at Highly Accomplished and Lead standards for meaningful professional learning.
Certificates of participation with alignment to the APST will be available for those who would like it for their portfolio.

A minimum number of 20 bookings are required for this event to run.
In the unlikely event that we cancel the event, you will be notified by email with at least 48 hours notice. We will also fully refund you after we receive your completed Refund Request Form.
