Apron art at the museum this January! Each participant will have an apron, paint and brushes to create a masterpiece. It’s great fun and artist Sarah Mohammad will help you create your design. Best of all you get to take your work of art home! In Islamic art, geometric designs, floral designs and calligraphy are all common. The beautiful geometric designs create the impression of unending repetition, using symmetry and creating pictures that include squares, triangles, and repeating patterns. All skill levels are welcome. Enjoy meeting your fellow participants and take a peek at their creations while the paint dries on yours.

Time: 1pm - 2.30pm

Ages:  Suitable for ages 8+
