Improve your literary skills in our Academic Writing Workshop for VCE students!
The VCE exams can be one of the most stressful periods of students' lives. The pressure to perform well can greatly affect their final results. Schools begin preparing students for VCE exams from Year 9 onwards, equipping them with the skills to ace their exams. Unfortunately, the time spent improving reading, writing and comprehension may not be enough. Students are invited to supplement their learning with our Academic Writing Workshop.

The Islamic Museum of Australia's Muslim Youth Network has invited experienced high school and academic English teacher, Nilufer Kurtuldu, to facilitate an academic writing workshop. Nilufer will provide extra support to help students in their essay writing.

The program will include:
  • Essay planning and structure
  • Essay writing with the appropriate grammar and vocabulary used in academic writing
  • Editing
  • Do's and don'ts
  • Text analysis and language analysis essays
All students will take home an essay writing cheat sheet to help them excel in their studies.
