Islamic Architecture

Islamic Architecture encompasses a wide range of both secular and religious buildings

Islamic architecture, through retaining great strength from a firm spiritual foundation, encompasses a wide range of both secular and religious buildings and styles from the 7th century CE in the Middle-East fanning across the world to the present day. A vastly complex and original vocabulary developed over time from the principal Islamic architectural types in mosques, tombs, palaces, forts, schools and urban buildings.
